We all do it; dream of having what we think we want, and never realising we get what we need. So why do some people want f
or nothing and others have to work every hour to just get by? in my philosophical conclusion it's simple, we are all on different spiritual paths and evolutionary stages within our own spiritual growth. Sounds 'far-out', I know, but through my own experiences within the field of 'manifesting' I'll try and simplify it and give you some of my own examples.
Manifesting and synchronicity can be very similar in nature, but approached from different angles. Synchronicity being an occurrence of a situation brought on by means apparently out of your control, in which the outcome has a lifechanging or at least a million to one chance of being by chance, which co
uld be subtle one one hand or mind-blowing on the other.
I believe the existence of synchronicities is the universe's way of telling you to pay attention and use the the art of manifestation to control your own reality to be the best person for you.
An example of synchronicity could be twins separated at birth who live in different countries, and who happen to find themselves sharing a lift on a shopping trip abroad when their older, then through this encounter going on to realise their full family that they'd never even knew existed. The chances of this happening by pure chance would be a million to one. However, one of the twins may have been putting out the intention to meet their other twin one day, and so when this meeting occurred in the lift, it would be deemed 'Manifesting' because of the intention from one twin setting the intention, but synchronicity from the other twin who didn't. This set of circumstances go
es way beyond coincidence which is what often gets said.
We recently visited Cheddar gorge, and on the way there we found a place by chance called 'rock of ages', a phrase I'd never come across before. We came home that same day and watched a film about music where the one character kept mentioning the phrase 'rock of ages', again, i'd never heard of the term before, but to hear it twice in one day seemed quite remarkable. I'd been talking to a friend in my van about my dad who's name is Barry and the relationship I have with him, when my friend's phone rang at the very same time and on the screen showed the name, Barry, his boss from work. these are the subtle signs if you're willing to pay attention. When you do start to pay attention, you'll see them everywhere.
What, why and how? we've covered the what, now for the why.
It would appear most of us sleepwalk through life,
never really questioning the mechanics behind reality, save but a few. It's easy to credit god with anything that goes right in one's life, and the devil when it doesn't, but that's far too superficial and doesn't go anywhere near to explaining why manifesting happens to certain individuals.
The universe, in my opinion listens to you like a great grandparent; listens to you moaning about your neighbour, your work, your loves, hatreds and even desires. But how many people actually ask for their desires to be granted from the universe-very few I'd imagine. Religiously people pray in church but again, there is the notion of god doing good things for you and the devil doing bad and the responsibility from the individual being taken away somewhat.
In the witchcraft and wiccan world this notion wouldn't be lost there. It's the tapping-in to the world beyond the veil we call reality. Reality is different from one person to the next and a sense of belief can either hinder or encourage the partaker in the world of manifesting.
The desired outcome of a situation should be so
deep-rooted in the soul that it cannot be shaken, the sense of self belief that it WILL happen, so long as nobody is being harmed along the way of course. Let me give you one of many examples from my own perspective.
I was working with a friend of mine twenty years ago as a labourer for him and his boss, landscaping and building. Work was always there when I needed it, and although I didn't really think about money I didn't have to worry about where my next pay was coming from most of the time. After a few years on and off working for them and doing the odd bit of work here and there to make up the in-between cash, I was told the work was coming to an end and they couldn't keep me on. It was October and I was devastated, Christmas was approaching and I knew I wouldn't have an
y money to see me through with two young children. I knew I worked hard and sometimes beyond what I thought I was capable of, but I had to break the news to my partner, Lucy. Although I drove, I couldn't actually afford to, so I would bus it too and from work because I didn't have any of my own tools, and it was on the bus home I had the revelation. Why not go it alone and start my own gardening business?
'It's October' lucy said as I announced the idea that evening, 'who's going to hire you in October, with no tools, no car, no funds to start?'
something deep inside me told me it would work, so I typed out a flyer for a gardener despite her misgivings, even lying about what I co
uld do. How could I mow someone's grass without a lawnmower? I simply had no tools and no money.
'It's October' the shopkeeper said as I handed him the flyer the next day, 'It won't be worth it' he added.
I remember saying out-loud to him, 'something will come of this flyer' as I handed over the 50p for the week in the window. The next day I had a phone-call from a woman asking me to move some roses in the garden and just generally do some digging.
'The flyer you put in the shop window really spoke to me' she said
I turned up the next day with what tools I could find from home; a garden fork, secateurs and that was it.
'Here's your money, I'll be back later, just close the gate behind you' she said as I arrived.
She'd already paid me before I'd started the job which surprised me because it showed a great deal of trust, and responsibility on my part. I'd finished the job hours later, put the fork in a bin-liner and went home.
The next day the same lady phoned me. 'Thanks for the work, you did a great job, but I noticed you didn't have a car and your tools were in a bin-liner' she quizzed
I explained I had nothing but i'm trying to find my feet.
'Well' she said, 'I like your attitude. I thought I'd let you know I start up small businesses in catering, but I like you, your hard work and your attitude that I'm willing to offer you £1000 to start up yourself'
I wondered where the catch was, so I came off the phone shaking my head. I'd never had bank loans, credit cards because that wasn't the world I lived in, so that kind of money was beyond me. Eventually I said 'yes', and so within
a week my car was back on the road, I'd bought a petrol hedge-cutter, chainsaw, lawnmower and some small tools to start me off. I even had some money for Christmas. I paid the money back over time and my business has grown ever since fifteen years on.
Just to note, I had no other replies from that flyer, only her's. Work just seemed to appear. What was very odd indeed was that, I had a diary with all my customers in that I'd accrued over the months following this manifestation of a loan, I had around twenty people I'd visit regularly and they all started with the letter J. John, Janet, Jackie, July, jane, Judy, jenny, the list went on.
This is manifesting at it's finest; having the deep-rooted sense that the universe will listen and meet you half way, so long as you put in the groundwork. But it doesn't end there for me, my manifesting has taken me to t
he realms of the paranormal and UFO's and conjured some even more bizarre and amazing things.
